Mr. Samson Sikelo-Phiri, is a Certified Public Accountant with over 15 yearsâ€™ experience in Senior Management and executive positions. His areas of expertize are; Strategic Planning, Financial planning and Management, Treasury management, Management Information System, Taxation, auditing, Risk and Compliance, Governance, Company Secretarial, Human Resources and Administration among others.
Samson has worked in public, private and NGO sectors where he gained vast experience in Accounting and Finance, Human Resource and Administration. Samson started his career with Malawi Housing Corporation where he worked as an Accountant. He joined the Private sector where he held Senior Management positions before proceeding for further training in the UK where he qualified with ACCA after which he worked as Head of Finance and Chief Finance officer and Company Secretary in the financial sector. Later, he joined Action aid International as Country Finance Manager.
Samson became instrumental in the formation of the Malawi Leeds association where he was honorary treasurer. Samson is a Certified Public Accountant and ACCA Professional. He is a member of Institute Of Chartered Accountants in Malawi and Malawi Accountants Board. Beside he holds Bsc (Hons) in applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University(UK) and several certifications in Public administration, Human Resources, Risk and compliance among others. As a professional, he is also an adjunct lecturer in Public Finance Management courses at the Malawi Institute of Management.
Alex Chanza is a multi-skilled consultant with solid understanding of ICT from strategic to technical issues. His expertise includes communication, presentation, project management, report writing and data analysis skills. He is responsible for Short term training, long term training and consultancies. He is also the coordinator of HIV & AIDS training programmes at MIM in collaboration with the Regional AIDS Training Network (RATN).
