MASTER OF SCIENCE IN MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Aim of the Programme
The overall goal of the programme is to support efforts of the Government of Malawi (GoM) in poverty reduction and socio-economic development strategies through capacity building in information systems.
Programme Learning Outcomes
The objectives of the programme are to enable learners to:
- Apply analytical skills in designing of information systems;
- Demonstrate ability to work as part of a development team;
- Use learning materials from a variety of sources;
- Communicate through a variety of media including oral, visual, written, diagrammatic and on-line platforms.
MIS aims to integrate technology with management and provide the knowledge and skills needed to be an effective practitioner
These programmes are delivery on the following modes of study; weekend and block release to accommodate work based learners.

Requirement |
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or any Bachelor’s Degree in ICT related programmes from an accredited University or recognized and accredited College/Institution.
- A minimum of Two (2) years post-graduation relevant work experience.
