This program is offered in collaboration with University of Bolton (UK) and it is offered in two options of full time and part-time respectively.
This Doctoral programme aims to enhance expertise and the high-level skill base in Malawi, Zambia, Tanzania, Mozambique, Kenya, Botswana, and other parts of Africa. This PhD will be offered within the business and technology subject areas such as Supply Chain Management, Knowledge Management, Information Technology, Operations Management, Innovation Management, Customer Relationship Management, and Human Resources Management.
The programme will be delivered though assisted distant learning framework based on the Global Education Delivery Model developed at the University of Bolton
Students graduating from this programme with a PhD degree will be able to contribute to their organisations at strategic level and enable knowledge enhancement. This programme will help in capacity building in research, enterprise and teaching areas at individual, institutional, and national level in the target countries in Africa. Organisations which can benefit from the Doctoral Programme and resulting capacity building include public sector organisations, non-profit organisations, large business, SMEs, universities and other higher educational institutions.
