BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INFORMATION COMMUNICATION AND TECHNOLOGY TECHNOLOGY
Aim of the Programme
The primary aim of the Programme is to train prospective students to attain a high level of competence in ICTs to be able to function as productive and socially responsible members of the profession.
Programme Learning Outcomes
The programme provides opportunities for learners to achieve the following outcomes:
- Demonstrate ability to work as part of a development team
- Use learning materials from a variety of sources
- Communicate through a variety of media including oral, visual, written, diagrammatic and on-line platforms
The programme run for a period of 4 years (normal entry) and 2 years (Mature entry). This programme is delivered on full time, block release and weekend basis.

MSCE or any equivalent O-Level qualification with credit passes in six (6) subjects
including English Language, Mathematics, Physical Science (or Physics and Chemistry).

University or recognized institution Diploma in Information Technology or Information Systems,
City and Guilds Advanced Diploma or any Diploma in ICT related programmes as well as a minimum

BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Aim of the Programme
The primary aim of this program is to provide students with knowledge and skills for managing organizations in a global business environment.
Programme Learning Outcomes
The programme provides opportunities for learners to achieve the following outcomes:
- Communicate in a variety of domains by selecting and integrating communication skills to develop informative and persuasive presentations to a variety of audiences.
- Interpret organisational policies in executing day to day operations.
- Analyse organisational issues through systematic thinking and application of frameworks and tools that assist business decision making.
- Demonstrate understanding of fundamental information technology tools and concepts.
- Identify a variety of risks and opportunities of doing business in a global environment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of traditional business functions including computer information systems, accounting, marketing, economics, finance, leadership, strategy, and management of Human resource.
- Work independently as well as a team in various business situations.

MASTERS OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Aim of the Programme
The aim of this programme is to build human resource capacity in business leadership in both the public and private sectors. In addition, to developing professionals with theoretical and practical skills in business leadership.
The objectives of the programme are to enable learners to:
- Apply analytical skills in designing of business organizational systems;
- Demonstrate ability to work as part of a development team;
- Use learning materials from a variety of sources;
- Communicate through a variety of media including oral, visual, written, diagrammatic and on-line platforms.
MBA runs for a period of 2 years. The core courses cover various areas of business which will enable the manager to develop and gain knowledge and skills in business analysis and strategy

Aim of the Programme
The overall goal of the programme is to support efforts of the Government of Malawi (GoM) in poverty reduction and socio-economic development strategies through capacity building in information systems.

Aim of the Programme
This Master’s programme seeks to produce graduates who will be able to apply the acquired skills, concepts, theories and methods with high levels of professional responsibility in their various organizations in the public, private and NGO sectors in any country in the world.

The objectives of the programme are to enable learners to:
- Develop knowledge and skills in identifying and analyzing Contemporary organisational challenges.
- Improve analytical and scientific skills for developing innovative responses to global issues and resource problems.
- Enhance capacity for effective communication and dissemination of scientific information at local, national and global level for maximum impact.
- Produce professionals who are able to demonstrate self-direction, originality in tackling and solving global problems and act autonomously in planning and implementing task at professional level.
MSc. in Management Studies runs for a period of 2 years. It provides comprehensive principles and expertise in the main managerial disciplines and it will enable one to transition into a managerial position. This programme will yield a relational, reflexive and ethical manager.

The programme provides opportunities for learners to achieve the following outcomes:
- Demonstrate the use of needs and accountabilities of different stakeholders in a business and how their behaviour affects the business.
- Demonstrate understanding of different sectors of the economy
- Solve LPP to maximize the profit and to minimize the cost.
- Demonstrate appropriate interview and presentation skills
- Apply moral philosophies to Business Ethics
- Assess the relevance of strategic architecture and configuration to implementing strategies.
- Build communication and teamwork skills through the group project
- Demonstrate how as marketers, they can use their knowledge of consumer behaviour in order to develop better marketing programmes and strategies to influence consumer and buyer behaviour
